Africa College of Social Work is a private college located in Nairobi

ACSW was started in 2003 mainly to train certificate and diploma Courses in Community Development and Social Work which are still core courses in the college.

After one year of operation the college experienced a lot of demand for other Courses and services, this led to the introduction of other Courses in the entrepreneurship Development and Business Administration at a diploma level.

The college targets trainees drawn from NGOs, CBOs and FBOs and general school leavers and people working in private public sector who wishes to further Education in Social Work Entrepreneurship Business Administration and Counseling.

Africa College of Social Work is run by a team of professionals who are drawn from diverse backgrounds it is organized into two main section/ wings as follows:

(a) Training and Academic Operations:

This section deals with purely with all Academic Programmes leading to award of Certificates, Diplomas.

( (b)The ACSW Consultancy services

This offers Consultancy Services in Training, Institutional Capacity Building Development and Management of Community Projects and Entrepreneurship Development.
