Banana Village Hotel

We loved our stay at Banana Village Hotel in Entebbe Town in Uganda. Our food was awesome! It's really pretty close to the airport Entebbe Airport.

The huts were great! There's a wonderful family of monkeys that live there on the premises! They love their pictures being taken! I felt very safe while I was there.

They have watchmen through the night that a lot of the visitors there so not even know about. It gives a sense of security! Lake Victoria is only a small walk away! Their prices were great!!!! Rooms were very clean.

The power is a small problem but power any where in Uganda isn't reliable so keep that in mind, Charge camera batteries when it's on!!!

The food was fantastic and they will cater to whatever you want if you tell them!

We told them how much we love pineapples and for the next 2 weeks we had pineapple at every meal!!!! We're looking forward to go back next year!!! Banana Village here we come!1

There is a restaurant for guests which serves delicious, fresh food and they will prepare buffet style meals for those travelling with groups.

They also have horses available for riding and the staff can assist you with about anything else you want to do in Entebbe or Kampala.

They are some of the most helpful hotel staff I have come across in East Africa.

Banana Village has great character and is a fabulous place to bring groups or travelling solo.
