Casa Del Mar Hotel Jambiani Zanzibar

Casa del Mar Hotel Jambiani was the perfect place to relax on the East Coast for 4 days.

We spent hours lying on the comfortable beach loungers gazing at the crystal blue water and asking ourselves how we had ended up in paradise!

The pool is definitely one of the highlights of this establishment as it means you can swim any time of day or night,

regardless of how far back the tides have retreated.

The stunning clear water surrounded by lush tropical plants really is the perfect setting!

There is an amazing attention to detail such as clay pots of water at the entrance to your room and the pool and the restaurant so that you can easily wash away the fine beach sand that clings to everything.

Other Holiday Hotels, Beach Rentals and Holiday Villas

The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and the generator ensures that you can always sleep under a whirring fan in the heat of the Zanzibari summer despite the constant power-outages on the island, which is a really bonus!

The village is very safe and the people are very friendly. The beach is beautiful but swimming is only good when the tide is high.

We learned to plan our day around this though and enjoyed the greet pool. We would love to return here anytime.

I would recommend this to travelers who prefer less touristy locations.
