Dar es Salaam Archipelago Downtown Restaurant belongs to the "Archipelago" franchise which also has two renowned restaurants in Stone Town (Zanzibar).

"Archipelago Downtown" is situated in downtown Dar es Salaam. I strongly recommend it.

It has delightful african/zanzibari recipes (mainly seafood but also chicken, beef and something vegetarian), with extra-menu weekly proposal.

It is not expensive (you can have a full dinner with starter and fish main course for around 10 USD), and the staff is exquisitely kind.

The venue is not overly sophisticated but pleasan

Excellent services, great food. We had lunch there with not too much time on our hands. The waiter was prompt, extremely friendly and efficient and the services were fast !!

We even had time for a dissert and a chat ! Absolutely fantastic. The setting is beautiful and very comfortable. Must go back there again !
