Dar es Salaam Mashua Waterfront Bar and Grill

You are Here: › Mashua Waterfront Bar and Grill

My first thought when I saw Dar es Salaam Mashua Waterfront Bar and Grill was that it must be a big tourist trap, with miserable service and food quality. But in fact, it's one of my favourite places in Dar.

Of course, the location and atmosphere next to the water is the best, but the service is ok, and the food is very good.

The pizza's are absolutly great, and many of the main courses are also good! Prices are even quite good for the area.

Set on the waterfront close to the tourist friendly slipway shops . The location is great overlooking the water and sunset.

Unlike other reviewers we found the service very good, the staff friendly and efficient. The food was good without being spectacular.

Yes it does have the feel of a 'tourist trap', but we were tourists so it suited us fine and was a really convenient location to combine a little shopping for overpriced souvenirs with a decent drink and meal in a pleasant location.
