Jumuia Guest House in
Nakuru Kenya is in a noisy part of town so would recommend ear plugs. We stayed
when there was a conference on so the conference participants woke us up very
early as they began at 6am and when they came to bed late at night. The room we
had was by the kitchen and the pots and pans banging also woke us. With ear
plugs the next night there were no issues.
The rooms are small and basic but clean. Very close to the Nakuru National Park.
Good security. Good price (45 USD per night per room non resident).
I looked around the internet for a reasonably priced hotel in Nakuru. A lot of the hotels like so many in Kenya were above our budget so I would stay again if I had the earplugs if only for the price.
It has nice garden settings and the staff were pleasant.
Have rated at 4 stars as I was overall happy with what we paid for. I found it hard to find better in our budget range.
There is often a gap in some Kenya towns for people self touring on a budget.
not only was I made welcome and well fed, I felt a comadrie that still makes me smile these five years later...i look forward to returning to savor a cool Jumuia Guest House Nakuru Kenya!
