Overview


The Nairobi Institute of Technology is a privately owned and managed mid-level educational institution. It was established in 1997 and registered under section 5(2) education act Cap 2, Laws of Kenya.

As required by law for all mid-level training institutions, collaborating with Universities, NIT is Accredited by the Commission for Higher Education in Kenya. On Accreditation, NIT attained a higher placement in the education institutional hierarchy. This has eventually lead to authority to offer degree programmes.

 

NIT offers a broad range of undergraduate study programmes that focus on Architecture, Information Technology and Digital Media Design.

NIT also offers KASNEB courses. The courses available at NIT are ATC Levels I and II, CPA Sections 1-6.N.I.T,is officially the only TOONBOOM Preffered Training Centre in East and Central Africa.

For the working professional, NIT offers Information Security and Audit courses which include Auditing and Performing General controls review in ICT environments. We also offer Project Management courses.
