Situated on a kopje, Kusini Camp is the only permanent tented camp in the south west part of the Serengeti National Park.
As such it affords guests the rare opportunity of exclusive drives and intimate walking encounters.
The surrounding short grass plains provide the setting for the most spectacular natural phenomenon in the whole of Africa, the wildebeest migration,
during which time the hordes congregate around the camp in order to give birth.
Each of Kusini’s nine tents feature private showers and private terraces overlooking the plains.
Gather for meals and stories in the dining tent, which also has an intimate library, lounge and veranda.
Guests can also enjoy a picturesque bush breakfast or partake in the sundowner cocktail hour among the kopje boulders, while spotting for game, including zebra, cape buffalo, lion and leopard.
The Camp offers superb all year-round game viewing opportunities in open vehicles, as well as guided bush walks.
Built to complement and not compete with its most spectacular setting, Kusini blends seamlessly into the wilderness, in harmony with the architecture of nature.
