Lake Manyara View Lodge

The Staff at Lake Manyara View Lodge is very welcoming and the location of the hotel allows for some great views of Lake Manyara.

The lodge is comprised of a series of bungalows. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was also quite large with good amenities and hot water, though the drain was a bit slow. The dining area was very attractive with large windows open to the light.

Food was quite good and served in large portions. The grounds were also quite pleasant to walk around in. Overall, a good stay

We stayed in this hotel after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro - it was the ultimate luxury.

The spacious rooms had perfectly starched white sheets & towels and the hotel had lots of areas for relaxing and a bar overlooking the crater.

Meals were buffets for our first two nights but as the hotel was quiet and our last night was 1st of September they obviously reduce their menu out of season.

Food on the 1st was basic and didn't stand up to the buffet. However, if you've eaten traditional Tanzanian food in any of the basic hotels this was still a real treat.
