We had a great time game viewing at Lake Nakuru
Lodge even seeing animals from our room window at lodge.
Unfortunately the pink flamingoes were not
present because of all the rain however our guide Steve took us to some the
next day at a private sanctuary near Lake Naivaisha.
Try Lake Nakuru Lodge and you will not regret.
This Lodge is located in the Great Rift Valley in the heart of Ramsar Site, one of the most densely animal populated wetland national parks.
The lodge is a two-hour drive from Nairobi, roads through wonderful scenery or a 25-minute flight by charter plane to the local airstrip.
Lake Nakuru is an Oasis of comfort and excellent service with commanding views of the lake and its population of greater and lesser flamingo.
The lodge blends so well with its surroundings that animals can often be seen browsing peacefully close by – a fascinating sight for visitors.
There is accommodation for 120 people in family rooms, cottages and suites. The excellent cuisine include outside catering, a bush barbecue and an African night
After a day’s watching, guests can swim in the lodge’s own pool or enjoy a sundowner in the Rhino Paddock Cocktail Bar overlooking the lake. Varied programme of evening entertainment
