Zanzibar LangiLangi Beach Bungalows

When we finally arrived at Langi Langi Beach Bungalows in Zanzibar, as soon as we saw the ocean through the clearing our jaws DROPPED.

Having spent the last month in Dar, the trip to Nungwi was an incredible contrast.

We had a room on the second floor facing the ocean which was spectacular.

We spent hours each day on our balcony just marveling at how beautiful the view was.

When I arrived at Langi Langi, feeling exhausted after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Charity I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the location,

it was like paradise and how nice my apartment was. Also the hotel staff and the manager Sele made me feel very welcome.

Ok, first of all for people searching for a beach property Langi Langi is bang on the beach, their restaurant and deck are ocean facing and you just have to walk down the stairs to get to the beach.

They also have free wifi on the deck and have a computer which is free to use.

We got a pool facing room which was nice and very clean with Air conditioning and mosquito net. The owners & the staff are very courteous and helpful, they even helped us in booking our ferry tickets to Dar es Salaam

The approach to the hotel may not be so great but its the same story with every hotel in Nungwi beach, however once you're inside the gates its a different world.

There are a couple of good shacks close to the hotel, we went to a place called "Chalo Bar" two minutes walk from the hotel where there was a beach party till 3 in the night

You have local wine & grocery shop at two minutes walk from the hotel where you can pick up stuff, they even allow you to bring your own Alcohol to the deck

Everything about Langi Langi is Hakuna Matata (no Problem)
