Miditerraneo Hotel ad Restaurant Dar

Mediterraneo Hotel and Restaurant is tucked away amid large shady trees and set in lush tropical gardens. This has to be Dar's biggest secret. I lived in Dar for 2 years and have visited more than a dozen times since leaving there and had only heard of the place once.

The rooms are very clean and the bathroom was spotless and in good working order.

The menu has to be the best in Dar with a wide variety of food cooked by a truly gifted chef.

The dishes are pricey but I forgave that since I was so pleased with the accommodations.

Very nice hotel. Just in front of the ocean. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Friendly staff.

The rooms are comfortable with a big bathroom and air con. They have nice view on the tropical garden and there is a small terrace in front of them from where it is nice to chill out.

You cannot really swim in the ocean and just lie on the beach but after all we are still in town! It is interesting to see people passing by along the beach and to observe them in their daily life. Good value for the price.
