Why should you study at Nkabune Technical Training Institute Kenya? To meet the costs of this challenging world, one should always Endeavour to attain quality education.
Nkabune Technical Training Institute was established In 1964 to train social workers and clerks by consolata sisters.
In addition to training, the institute offered a two-year course in commercial studies to girls who achieved the Certificate of Primary Education (CPE).
In 1967 the ministry of education requested the sisters to start a grant-aided commercial technical school technical school for girls which opened at the current Gitoro Primary School the following year.
However, due to lack of sufficient land for expansion at Gitoro, the sisters moved to the school to its present location, Nkabune on a 25-acre piece of land donated by the community.
Initial construction work was financed by the Government of Kenya, Miseror German Episcopal Conference and the German Government.
The combined efforts made it possible for learning at the new Girls Technical Institute to start in 1971.
Arising out of the re-organisation of education in the country, Nkabune Technical and Commercial Girls Institute among other Technical secondary schools were converted to Technical Training Institutes.
