Orion Tabora Hotel is a former hunting lodge of a German baron with several arranged around a large indoor garden spacious rooms that later, because of its proximity to the Dar-Kigoma - Banhnhof line was used as a railway hotel.

Rooms with TV, Vent. (No AC) ,Very splendid impression, renovated a few years ago. Best Hotel in Tabora.

Large terrace with a bar-restaurant on weekends often loud live music to book then only room in the rear wing, or too loud.

Breakfast very sparingly and not very inviting. Staff speaks English well.

Just minutes to the train station, train ride, but hard to recommend (only one train per week and 1st class usually fully booked, as only one car, remaining completely overcrowded third class - only for hardcore Traveler..
