Nairobi osteria del chianti restaurant

It was delightful to be able to order our food at osteria del chianti restaurant via email.

The extensive Menu was scanned and sent allowing for pre orders before we arrived.

With a large group (all ages, meat eaters, fish allergies, vegitarians...) on arrival we found table ready, food on the go, drinks chilled...just perfect.

It also made it so much easier when it came to settling the bill.

Not sure they offer this on a regular basis, but for accomodating the request we gave them a 5 star rating.

Other Restaurants in Nairobi 

It all began on Lenana road, in Hurligham, where Osteria del Chianti serves excellent Italian food in a lovely garden decorated with firepits which make it one of the most atmospheric places where to have diner in Nairobi.

It is conveniently located in the same garden as famous, posh bar / nightclub Casablanca, where you can sip cocktails and smoke sheesha in a lovely oriental setting among internationals and rich Kenyans .

Osteria then opened branches in Westlands and Karen/Langata, serving the same food in nice gardens, slightly less atmospheric though.

The food has become a bit less subtle with time, but make sure you try the Parmigiana Di Melanzane. The Westlands branch serves excellent sangria.
