Osteria Gigiri Restaurant

Fantastic food.....great wine selection and the staff are superb.

Like a lot of restaurants in the Nairobi- the settings aren't always the best (views of car parks etc) but Osteria Gigiri restaurant has a nice feel to it-

and a nice outside area even though there is no view.

The manager is also very welcoming.

The owner is Italian - the food is genuinely excellent - the atmosphere equals the hospitality - this is a popular retreat for anybody who appreciates good Italian cuisine.

We don't tend to eat out for the sake of it and Gigiri is our popular haunt because we feel welcome, pampered and enjoy our meal each and every time we go there.

Not once have we been disappointed and we feel as though we're sitting at home in the kitchen.

So tucked away in the corner of Village Market is an authentic "hot spot' to savour and relax in and, incidentally, don't miss the music nights on Saturdays but perhaps its best to book beforehand. Buon appetito!
