Rwenzori The Gardens Hotel

I stayed at Rwenzori The Gardens Hotel in Kasese Town Uganda twice during a recent visit to Uganda, on my way from Kibale National Forest to Bwindi Impenetrable Park, and then on my way back to Kampala. 

Kasese is a great place to stay if traveling in western Uganda, with convenient access to the Rwenzoris, and on the way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi and the rift valley lakes.

Godfrey and his family are warm and hospitable. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms spotless and the food was the best I had in Uganda.

A special bonus was the opportunity to spend time visiting a nearby rural community and deliver much needed vegetable seeds, soccer balls and school supplies for the children.

I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling in western Uganda.
