Sabuk Lodge is an exclusive getaway on the edge of the Laikipia Plateau.

This stunning open-plan lodge looks out over the gorge of the Ewaso Nyiro River and the Laikipia Plains beyond.

The lodge, home to and hosted by professional safari guide Verity Williams, is created out of the local landscape and built with twisted wood, stone boulders and thatch.

This hilly area with dense acacia bush has incredible scenery and also hosts a variety of game and bird life.

The spacious mess building includes a dining room, lounge, library with a dramatic deck overlooking the river.

Guests are accommodated in five individually designed cottages with ensuite bathrooms and private verandas facing out over the river gorge below.

Location:

Sabuk House is located in Northern Laikipia, Kenya. There are scheduled flights from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Nanyuki then a 30 minutes connecting charter flight to Laikipia.

Accommodation:

Sabuk Lodge has 6 large en-suite cottages and one family cottage called 'Eagle Cottage' with two bedrooms and a shared sitting room.
