Shimba Hills Lodge

Shimba Hills Lodge has been constructed in the indigenous timber, blending perfectly with the luxuriant forest vegetation.

Set deep in the heart of an ancient tropical rainforest of Shimba Hills at Kenya’s Coast. Shimba hills national reserve is the only habitat for Sable Antelope in East Africa.

The lodge stays refreshingly cool in its forest setting despite being only 45 minutes drive from the hot, humid coastal city of Mombasa and 30 minutes from the South coast resort of Diani Beach.

Its proximity to the coast make Shimba Hills National Reserve and the lodge a perfect outing for those who want to see game without having to travel to any of the other national parks further a field.

The reserve is also the last remaining habitat of the rare and impressive Sable Antelope in East Africa.

A tree-level wooden walkway extending well into the forest allows for the unobtrusive viewing of the game and plants.

Shimba Hills Safari Lodge is in Shimba Hills National Reserve, 33 km south west of Mombasa.

Shimba Hills Safari Lodge has 30 rooms. Double and triple rooms have access to toilet and showers while suites have en-suite facilities.
