Soroti Hotel in Uganda

My friend and I stayed at the Soroti Hotel eastern Uganda for over a month as we were on tourism work. In fact, it is my third stay there within a year’s time. The rooms are large and cleaned daily. The staff is generally friendly. Rooms have a fan which is adequate (no air conditioning).

It is very clean, has friendly staff, and good facilities. You can have a workshop there, or just relax after a day of work on the terrace.

The food is your average Ugandan chicken and rice kind of food. The pork chops Hawaii are great. Fans are available.

When there are problems with the water (Uganda has been suffering from low water levels in the Victoria lake), staff will provide you with jerry cans.
It is a bit out of town, around 15 minutes walk from the centre.
