Tarhi Camp in Tsavo Kenya

You are Here: › Tarhi Camp

Tarhi Camp is situated on the seasonal Voi River in Tsavo East National Park and the next town is Voi.

It is a camp in the true "old style".

On the banks of Voi River, in a shadowed glade among the Boskia trees, Tarhi Safari Camp has the atmosphere of the pioneer camps of long ago while providing the comforts of a permanent camp with modern utilities.

It is ideally placed in one of the most prolific game viewing areas of the Tsavo National Park.

You can make your safari an all day experience as you enjoy the serenity and surprises of the African bush around the camp, watching the lights on the Taita hills, listening to the calls of the animals or marveling at the brightly colored birds.

Each Tarhi Camp comes ensuite with shower and restroom, all with running hot and cold water.

In the evening the generator is turned on, which fully lights the camp within a superb atmosphere. One can also charge the camcorders and photographic equipment.

Dining is safari style under open canopy tent that overlooks the Taita Hills.
