I was taken to this restaurant by a partner that we have in Nairobi, and we had lunch.

The menu is extensive, and there is pretty much something for everyone.

The place was probably 3/4 full which was a good start, and looking at the menu I realized it was time to try something different.

Between us we had Pizza,...Skeptical; its the only way I can describe my going to an Italian restaurant in downtown Nairobi.

Then frustration as I heard they don't accept credit cards (that is true: cash only and bring KSh as the exchange for USD is horrible [same for Euro]!)

My skeptism turned to delight when I saw the menu.

Four pages of homemade pasta options; veal, chicken, pork, multiple types of cheeses, some of which are rare in the "little italy" even in New York.

Started with the cream based mushroom soup which was good. The tortelli with four cheeses, asparagus and ham was to die for.

Sauce was rich but no overly so, totelli was perfectly cooked and cheeses, oh my the cheeses.

Finished with a wonderul gelato. Meal was fantastic especially given hotel restaurant most of the rest of the week.

FYI, jeans and golf shirt readily accepted; try for the outdoor veranda upstairs. Very nice.
