Travellers Lodge Bagamoyo

Stayed at Travellers Lodge bagamoyo both with family and with a big group of 50 people. The manager speaks both English and German, and the location is great and close to nature (often you see Mangos):

When planning airport transfer take care for the traffic: at night you need around 60 minutes (maybe even less;-), during the day it might take you several hours!

The hotel offers free beach towels and free WiFi at the restaurant. To resume: it's the perfect place to start or to finish your trip to Tanzania when arriving or leaving via Dar es Salaam.

Other Hotels and Safari Lodges 

A major attraction happens at sunrise, when the fishing boats set sail just outside our cottage. A pity the beach is not too attractive to swim at, the water is not at all crystal clear

If you dream about white beaches and crystal clear swimming, you must go elsewhere (than Bagamoyo), but for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings next to a friendly and attractive village, I recommend Travellers Lodge warmly.
