Zanzibar Palace Museum has a collection of odds and sods left behind by the last Sultan post the 1964 revolution (the good stuff long since gone) - worth a 20 minute diversion, but you might be the only person there.

It is an amazing fort partly built by Arabs and partly by Portugese, right near the sea.

I would love to see a concert over there.
